I have done no shopping yet. I sure hope Monday is going to be a good day to do it and I hope I'll be able to find what I want.

Actually, I tried to pick up something today that I was certain would be available and the place I went had no such thing. I have no idea where to look for it now either, and I'm way too late to look online.

Shopping for gifts has always been a major source of irritation in this household. I have never had a year where it was easy.

This has never been a traditional household, and I don't see where it's written that I should be the only one to put the thought and work into making holidays happen. Nor should I have to listen to a bah humbug attitude all the time. I could do it all myself, but I feel that the holiday requires some joint participation. I would also prefer the slightest bit of enthusiasm about it.
