Plan Ahead

OK, this is one of those moments when I hate my computer. But I have only myself to blame.

I finally finished writing about doing Festivus in 48 hours, and was ready to upload when I had that moment all of us dread, my computer froze up and I had forgotten to save.

Here's the short version.

My knee froze up on Monday and knocked me out of commission through Tuesday.

I had not bought a single present nor most of the food, and I had stuff at work to catch up on before I could even do that.

That left Wednesday night and Thursday for me to do everything, and I mean everything, for the holiday on Friday.

It was hectic but we made it.

The holiday was good and everyone was happy.

It just took me this long to recover enough to write about it. Then I lost it.

Probably better that way anyhow.

Time to learn to plan ahead on all fronts.
